From sheet metal to finished piece

Metal
We start with solid sterling silver and 14k gold sheet and wire. Scrap from the bench is collected and sent back to be refined.
Cutting and forming
Shapes are sawn by hand, then filed, bent and soldered. A simple band can take an hour; a chain, most of a day.
Finishing
Each piece is polished or brushed by hand, then inspected under magnification for solder gaps, sharp edges and loose links.
Hallmarking
Finished pieces are stamped with their metal content. We think you should be able to read what you are wearing.
What goes in, in plain words
Solid metals. We work in solid sterling silver and solid gold rather than plated base metals, so a piece can be polished and repaired instead of discarded.
Simple forms. Clean bands, slim chains, small studs. We design by removing until nothing is left that does not need to be there.
Made in small runs. Each design is produced in limited quantities at a bench, checked by hand and finished one at a time.
