Signet rings traditionally carry a family crest, initials or a symbol. Ours is left blank on purpose. We wanted the ring to be finished at the bench as a clean oval, and for the engraving to be a decision made later, by the person wearing it.
A blank signet can be engraved by any competent jeweler, and we plan to offer engraving ourselves once the atelier is open. Until then, it is simply a small, polished oval of metal that sits well on the hand.
Several people who tried the prototype said they would keep it blank. We think that is a fine answer too.
